A Grand Opening of the AFA AstroKids Club Batch 4 will be held on 8th January, Saturday at the Public Astronomical Observatory.
AFA Study Tour
A Dozen AFA Members were part of the annual study tour to Mumbai. This study tour covered Nehru Science Centre and the Planeterium along with a visit to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum.
AstroQuiz 2011
AFA will organize the Annual Inter-School AstroQuiz 2011 in early February. Watch this space for more information!

Public Observation of Uranus
A Public Observation of Uranus was conducted by AFA on 19th December. This was be facilitated by the new C-14 Telescope, as Uranus is not visible with the naked eye. About 80 people attended the programme.
Star Party
More than a dozen Regular AFA Members took part in a Star Party cum 'Messier Marathon' which took place in Tillari, Maharashtra from 4-5 December.
